Presented at the 1963 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Mercedes Benz 600 represents a luxury limousine, designed and built for large industrialists, heads of state and maganti.
In 1965 a model was also created specifically for the Pope.
In the Mercedes Benz 600 everything was designed to offer the maximum in terms of comfort and luxury. The interiors could then be customized according to the customer's tastes.
The restoration
The Mercedes Benz 600 Limousine is one of the most luxurious cars of the German house.
The cabinetry in these types of car is very complex, the pieces that compose it are numerous and difficult to reproduce. In this restoration, the door profiles have been completely rebuilt, paying close attention to the preparation of the veneers, which is essential to avoid future cracks in the wood.
The blue upholstery, like the seats, has been completely rebuilt following the original models.
